C.O.O.R. Intermediate School District and its programs are governed by a seven-member Board of Education. Its members are elected to serve six-year terms. Board Members are listed on the left side of the page.

Traveling Meetings
The Board decided to meet at Fairview Area Schools for their August 10, 2022 meeting. They have also visited Crawford AuSable School District, Houghton Lake Community Schools, West Branch-Rose City Area Schools, and Mio AuSable School District. The board hope that this will help inform the local community members about the ISD.

When available, the public may view our Board of Education meeting via the Facebook live stream, which will play from our home web page even if you don't have a Facebook account.

Governance Standards
The C.O.O.R. Board of Education has adopted the Michigan Association of School Boards Governance Standards. The Board of Education Governance Standards were developed by school board members for school board members to provide a shared framework for effective school district governance. November Election
There will be three openings on the November ballot for our Board of Education. Two current trustees will be on the ballot: James A. Gendernalik and Kara Mularz. The third opening will need to be filled as well.
Meetings
Board Meetings on Second Wednesday at 6:00 PM
Regular meetings of the board are held on the second Wednesday of each month, at 6:00 PM. at the C.O.O.R. ISD Central Office. Postings of Special Meetings can also be found by the main door to the C.O.O.R. Intermediate School District Central Office at 11051 N. Cut Road, Roscommon, MI 48653 (at the top of "Pioneer Hill") and on this website.
